SALT LAKE CITY \u2013 Oct. 3, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> Today, Nusano’s Melissa Daniels was recognized as a \u201cRising Star\u201d by the Women Tech Council at a luncheon in downtown Salt Lake City.<\/p>\n

The Women Tech Council<\/a> focuses on accelerating the economic impact of women in technology and innovation. The organization\u2019s annual Rising Star Awards recognize high-potential women with less than 10 years into their careers who are already making a significant impact in technology and innovation\u00a0<\/p>\n

Daniels is a Nuclear Engineer with a degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Entering the field four years ago, she specializes in the production of radioisotopes using particle accelerators. She is a named inventor on both filed and pending patents including a bremsstrahlung converter that increased the thermal capacity of isotope production processes that use photons converted from electrons to produce isotopes and isotope separation technology.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At Nusano, Melissa continues to advance the field, working on advanced radioisotope production and separation technologies.
